In 1.5 years we tore down, fabricated 80% new, rebuilt, and reassembled 8 buckets and 2 diesel engines, improving safety and tons per hour using all teams.
Shovel Boom
In-house complete build increased strength and reduced stress area cracking with thicker bottom plate and forged boom feet on 67-foot-long, 12-foot-wide, 150,000-lb boom.
NASA Crawler Transporter Upgrade
Over 1,300 precision components manufactured in-house achieving tolerance specifications of +/- 0.0002” to increase payload by 6 million pounds.
