Recognizing the Role of Small Business in America’s Industrial Backbone

L&H Industrial’s ownership team has been named Wyoming’s Small Business Person(s) of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. While this honor reflects the strong and dedicated 2nd and 3rd generation of family leadership guiding the company today, it ultimately represents something much larger. It speaks to the role small businesses play in supporting the industries that keep America moving.

A Small Business with a Critical Role

American industry depends on reliability. When essential equipment fails, operations slow or stop. The impact is immediate and far-reaching.
At L&H Industrial, our focus has always been clear. Support the machines and operations that others depend on most.
From mining and energy to infrastructure and heavy industry, our work helps ensure that critical equipment performs under pressure. It is not just about fixing what is broken. It is about restoring capability, extending life, and keeping production moving.

Strengthening Supply Chains

This recognition highlights the importance of strong, reliable supply chains — both here at home and around the world.
At L&H, we’re proud to contribute by:
– Rebuilding and manufacturing large-scale components in the United States
– Expanding domestic capabilities that support critical industries
– Delivering responsive, high-quality solutions when and where they’re needed most
– Helping strengthen the resilience of the systems that keep the world moving
When equipment is critical, having trusted capability close to home makes a difference.

Leadership That Carries It Forward

The SBA recognition includes Mike Wandler, Dustin Roush, Jason Percifield, and Gage Wandler — but more than anything, it reflects a responsibility to carry something forward. Now into its third generation, L&H continues to be shaped by a way of doing business that’s been built over time.
Since 1964, that has meant:
– Stepping into the hard work
– Stand behind what’s built
– Taking responsibility when it matters
– Putting people first
Leadership today is about protecting that standard and making sure it holds across every decision, every investment, and every opportunity ahead.

Built by the People Doing the Work

L&H is built by people who show up every day ready to take on hard problems. Machinists, engineers, technicians, field teams, and business experts; people who take pride in doing the job right, even when it’s not easy.

That kind of mindset is what allows a small business to step into complex, high-stakes work, and earn the trust to keep doing it.

Looking Ahead

This recognition means a lot; not because of the award itself, but because of what it represents.
– Work being done the right way.
– Problems being solved when it matters most.
– People showing up every day to build, fix, and keep things running.

We’ll keep doing what we’ve always done:
– Supporting the industries that keep the world moving
– Investing in the people who make the work possible
– Building and strengthening capabilities here at home

That’s what drives us,  and that’s what will carry us forward.
