L&H Mexico has reached a monumental milestone as the company’s Mexico operations celebrates 10 years of business in 2018. It has been a journey of growth over the past 10 years in Mexico for the L&H brand; and recalling the story makes all employees proud of Mexico’s accomplishments.
When L&H Mexico first opened its doors for business in August of 2008 they were committed to be on-site, accountable, and able to service the products sold into the Mexico market. L&H wanted to be different; they wanted to provide the customers with support throughout the entire product life-cycle, and the business approach proved its self by quadrupling sales within the very first few years.
The original company started as a very small service shop offering mechanical repairs to mining components in the early 2000’s by Pilo Canamar. Primarily field service support at the time and only 6 employees; the company was small and mostly serviced one local mine. Canamar entered into a strategic partnership with L&H Industrial in 2008, officially establishing L&H Mexico, as the regional L&H location to serve the country’s mining market. Over the years L&H Mexico’s customer base would grow, expanding beyond service and providing manufacturing, large shop repairs and outages across all mining machinery.
Today L&H Mexico provides Engineering & Design, Manufacturing & Repair and Field Service to the market, backed by 120 employees committed to Quality, Safety, Service and Innovation. L&H’s Mexico location plans to continue to grow in the market and lead the region in precision manufacturing, extensive shop and field capacities and offer full service solutions to mining machinery.
Pilo Canamar described the milestone as
“It’s a great feeling of satisfaction to have grown into a company recognized by the industry with a desire to do things great. Our employees believe in being an honestly better company and they follow is motto daily.”
