L&H Industrial's Rock Springs facility houses a full staff of competent trades and professional personnel, including a professional engineer. This site is geared towards the needs of oilfield, mining and energy industries. In addition to administration and engineering offices, the site houses 8,500 square feet of production facilities that include a welding shop, and a mechanicsc shop, & machine shop.

The city of Rock Springs is located in southwest Wyoming at the strategic crossroads of Interstate 80 and US Highway 191. The city now has nearly 20,000 residents and is truly booming.

About Rock Springs

Formed by the railroad and coal mines, Rock Springs offers a variety of recreational opportunities for both visitors and residents. Established in 1888 as a mining town, the natural resources around the area are the driving force behind the Rock Springs economy. For years the area provided millions of tons of coal to feed the nation's locomotives. Today, the Rock Springs area continues to have a leadership role in the nation's energy production. Over half of the workforce is employed by industry, principally mining, petroleum, power generation and related services. The area boosts some of the west's most significant oil and gas exploration and production fields.

Western Wyoming Community College is located in Rock Springs with a total full-time student population of 1,030. The college offers many associate degrees in a variety of disciplines. The community college also has a small art gallery and extraordinary displays of prehistoric animals and artifacts.

The Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County is an acute care facility that offers 24 hour physician staffed emergency department. The hospital has complete in-patient and out-patient services along with state-of-the-art diagnostic radiology, and clinical laboratory service; out-patient dialysis; Lifeline program and JCAHO and is Medicare accredited.

Recreation

Recreationally, Rock Springs has much to offer. The Sand Dunes, just a few miles north of Rock Springs, are the largest in North America. Rock Springs' magnificent high desert scenery offers world-renowned fishing and hunting right out your front door. Nearby recreation includes flat and white-water sports on Flaming Gorge and the Green River, unique off-road adventures in the Killpecker Sand Dunes, the Wild Horse Loop on White Mountain or wildlife watching in the Green River Basin and the Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge. The Rock Springs Community Fine Arts Center features local and nationally known artist's works. The city combines beauty and recreation with art and culture. Many opportunities exist to experience a wide range of outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, camping and a variety of water sports.

Green River, Wyoming

Located 15 miles West of Rock Springs is the city of Green River, The City of Green River takes its name from the Green River which flows through the center of the city. The river flows through a broad steep-sided valley with prominent rock formations, know as the "Green River Formation," along either side. The wide open spaces of southwestern Wyoming are suddenly interrupted by the series of multi-colored buttes, carved over time by the Green River. The varied sizes, shapes, and shades of the eroding strata provide a majestic setting for the town. Green River, a town of approximately 14,000, is a great town for business and quality of life.

The Green River

The massive Green River flows from the mountains in the north down through the city of Green River and eventually drains into the mighty Colorado River. The Green River offers excellent fishing for Rainbow and Brown Trout, Kokanee Salmon and Catfish. The city of Green River built a White Water Park in the river through the city. The White Water Park offers u-drops for people who love rafting, kayaking and canoeing. Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, just south of Green River, is a reservoir that extends for 91 miles south into Utah. The reservoir provides varied recreational activities such as hiking, camping, powerboating, waterskiing, camping, parasailing, rafting, swimming and fishing from boats or shore. The nearby Red Desert offers opportunities for hiking, wild horse tours, wildlife viewing and more.
