Founded in 1964, by Leon Wandler, L&H began with just eight employees in a small shop in Gillette, Wyoming. With a reputation as a high quality repair, fabrication and specialty-manufacturing provider, L&H soon found a demand for its services and products throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
The L&H physical plant and the number of employees continued to expand throughout the 1970s and 1980s. More changes and growth occurred in the 1990's with the addition of an engineering department and CNC capabilities to pursue the manufacturing of OEM-alternative parts for the oil field industry, surface and underground mining, railroad and other heavy industry.
The joint acquisition of Pylon Engineering in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2003 increased L&H's worldwide presence and created a more efficient way to get products manufactured and delivered to our customers.
Today, L&H Industrial boasts a distribution and service network that spans the globe, with distributors in all major mining areas worldwide. Strategic alliances with key suppliers and the joint acquisition of Pylon Engineering in South Africa allows L&H Industrial to manufacture and deliver to customers more efficiently than ever before.
